I’ve been playing with Photoshop for a few years and I wouldn’t argue that I’m a professional, but I definitely think I’m better than average.
Colorization
I really like doing colorizations but they can be a lot of work. It was a bit of a process learning how to do it effectively as well. It’s definitely not just as simple as painting on top of the photo but it’s not too complicated either.
Restoration
Sometimes old photos need to be cleaned up. It can be a really simple thing to do or it can be time intensive and very detail oriented. I enjoy the process either way and love seeing old photos brought back to life.
Removal
A lot of the photos I take I really like but they have some things that need to be removed like people, power lines, or a bird. Some of these are really challenging to do well but it’s totally worth it when you can make a great photo.
Fun
What’s the point of learning Photoshop if you can’t have a little bit of fun with it?
